Dear Friends,
What started as just a little get
together nine years ago to
express our immense gratitude to
our emerging network of loyal
M33 Access customers has become,
we’re proud to say, one of the
highlights of the summer for
thousands of our closest friends
in the region. OK, we’ll also
admit that others have referred
to it as “a company picnic on
steroids!”
Our
annual Customer Appreciation Day
Festival and Concert has grown
exponentially every year and now
attracts thousands – customers
and non-customers alike. In
fact, we’ve doubled the fun this
year by adding a separate event
Friday night – the inaugural M33
Access Rocks Rose City Concert,
featuring Led Zepagain, a
concert tribute to Led Zeppelin,
and a Battle of the Bands,
featuring several phenomenal
acts.
But
as we make plans for our 9th
annual event, it’s important to
us to remember our roots: The
reason for the celebration is to
salute the people who helped
make M33 Access the leading
high-speed Internet service
provider in our region.
As
in years past, the day-long
event will feature plenty of
food and beverages, games,
activities for children and
adults, and a spectacular
display of fireworks. But that’s
not all. This year, our
commitment to helping our
community has grown
exponentially. We’re adding a
huge blood drive and we also
have the Michigan Masons here
working to create Child
Identification Packages for
hundreds of children as well as
a local dentist giving children
free check-ups.
Saturday night, we’ll feature on
stage the winners of the Battle
of the Bands from the night
before, followed by 25-Cent
Beer, a sensational country band
out of Bay City, and an encore
performance by LIVE WIRE, which
rocked our world at last year’s
event.
Of
course, we’ll light up the night
sky with a fantastic fireworks
extravaganza BOTH nights, too!
While the Saturday’s Festival
remains free of charge for M33
Access customers, those who are
not subscribers to any of the
company’s many Internet services
will be required to pay a
nominal admission fee. Everyone
will pay a small admission fee
to get into the Friday night
concert. Please click on the
Tickets link above to order your
tickets. And remember, tickets
are limited, so we encourage you
to order them early.
Once again, we’ll be selling
raffle tickets in hopes of
giving away two brand new
vehicles –a 2008 Chevrolet
Colorado pickup truck, and a
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt (and we
thank the Nester Auto Group in
Roscommon and Houghton Lake for
providing the vehicles at
favorable prices). Proceeds go
to the Little Leagues of Rose
City and West Branch.
Last year, we raised more than
$20,000 for a variety of local
charities and youth groups,
including the American Red
Cross, the Ogemaw County Humane
Society, the Fairview High
School
girls’ basketball program and
the Little Leagues, among many
others. Being generous is just
as important as being a good
company that provides vital
services. And this event gives
us the chance to meet our
network of friends face to face,
have a great time in the process
and help improve our community.
So
mark July 18-19 on your calendar
and join us for two great
events. And don’t forget to tell
your friends. We’d like to meet
them, too.
See you all at the ranch here in
Rose City for another great
time.
Kind regards,
Glenn A.
