MIKE as Angus Young
Lead Guitar

BILL "V." Voccia as
Malcolm
Young
Rhythm Guitar
Malcolm Young
is the defining edge of AC/DC's trademark guitar
tone, and lays the foundation to
AC/DC's rumbling, riveting and unmistakable
sound.
And no one better emulates Malcolm's
distinguished guitar technique and stage persona
than Bill "V" Voccia of LIVE WIRE.
Much like Malcolm was for AC/DC, Bill is also
the founding member of LIVE WIRE, the world's
premier
AC/DC tribute band. He also handles bookings and
maintains the bands official Web site.
Bill is an experienced and professional musician
who hails from New York, and has been involved
in
AC/DC tribute band projects since the very first
incarnation of "tribute" was even thought back
in 1990.

BILL Bowden Jr. -
Daytona as Cliff Williams
Bass Guitar
A band needs
three lead guitarists about as much as it needs
three guys named Bill, which is how Bill Bowden,
Jr. came to be known as “Daytona” – and why he
plays bass. But wasn’t until he thought his
musical career was over, after he’d sold off all
his equipment, that he hooked up with LIVE WIRE.
It started when he and his family ordered a
pizza. The guy who delivered it? LIVE WIRE lead
singer Chris Antos, who was helping out a friend
who owned a local pizza shop. Years before,
Chris and Daytona had jammed together in their
first public appearance in New York, performing
AC/DC’s “Back in Black.”
As the third “Bill” in the group, along with
lead guitarist Bill “V” Vocchia and drummer
Billy Rudd, Bowden quickly earned the label of
“Daytona” for his love of NASCAR racings and his
annual pilgrimage to the Daytona 500.
BILLY RUDD as Phil Rudd
Drums
For
Bill Rudd, the fun-loving drummer of LIVE WIRE,
it was love at first sound.
"The first song I heard by AC/DC was ‘Highway to
Hell,” just after Bon (Scott) had passed away,
and I was instantly hook,” he says. Soon, the
savage, intense no-holds-barred rock and roll ain’t nose pollution sound of Australian group
became a kind of addiction.
“The first time I ever saw them in concert, I
was blown away by their high-energy show,” Billy
said. “Seeing them live made me want to be a
rock star, too.”
To profess his passion for the group, he covered
his back with a huge tattoo dedicated to AC/DC.
He also earned a role in the group’s “Stiff
Upper Lip” video.
